What has actually gone into the making of this "simple tent?" Just in the metals (approximately), the total weight of gold is 1 metric tons (64.3 million USD), silver is approximately 3.44 tons(1.2 million USD), and bronze is approximately 2.67 tons or 2.42 tons (USD 12000). That is a lot of money not to mention the time and other materials which would have over doubled the cost. Here again, I see that God isn't offended about the people building him a nice place. On the flip side, there weren't any starving Israelites either. When we invest in places, we have to ask whether God wants it built or do we just want something to brag about.
